A pre-order is an order placed for an item that is either not yet released or not in stock, but will be available soon.
In order to enable preorder for a specific color variant, follow the below mentioned steps.
- Go to Purchasibility section and turn on the configuration
- Now in order to configure pre-order at a color level, Go to the variation section
- Select the color variant for which you want to enable the pre-order flag.
- Open the color variant detail > go to the domains section and turn the pre-order flag “on” for all the sizes of that color.
Pre-Order can also be enabled at colour/size level. If the business user wants to activate the pre-order for a specific size, that can also be done using the same steps mentioned above.
