Welcome to the May 2022 release of Better Commerce. There are several updates in this version that we hope you will like, some of the key highlights include:


Highlights

  1. Klaviyo integrationThe platform is now integrated with klaviyo. With Klaviyo integrations, you can import unlimited real-time data from virtually any component of your marketing stack. In fact, the more data you import, the better it is because you will discover better personalization and audience insights.

  2. Hermes integration: Hermes integration with Better Commerce automates the process of order fulfillment. Common commercial benefits achieved through synchronizing Hermes software with eCommerce and other business software include optimization of delivery costs, increasing employee productivity, Removal of repetitive, time-consuming data entry and eradication of the need for temporary staff during busy periods.

  3. Bulk upload of redirects : This enhancement gives user the provision to bulk upload the redirects along with date & time when they were uploaded. There may be millions of redirect setup, and that is where this feature comes very handy and allows you to manage that volume in elastic.

  4.  Improved UX of order detail page: The order detail screen has multiple elements. One of the crucial element is the display of returns and refunds. This release has the changes that has made the UI cleaner for better readability.


Commerce Hub & PIM Enhancements

  1. Klaviyo integrationThe platform is now integrated with klaviyo. With Klaviyo integrations, you can import unlimited real-time data from virtually any component of your marketing stack. In fact, the more data you import, the better it is because you will discover better personalisation and audience insights. Klaviyo integrations allow you to manage your data automatically.You will be able to provide better customer service across multiple channels. Integrations help to keep prices and inventory information consistent and up-to-date. Integrations also help to draw strategic insights from the data that has been accumulated

  2. Improved search and filters on order listing screen: The order list screen in the commerce hub gives you more clarity on searched keyword. For example- if an email, order number or customer name is searched.
     
  3. HTML widget in page builder : While updating HTML widgets in page builder where it contains textual content mainly, font style and size will be retained if the text has been copied from word or notepad.
      
  4. Bulk upload of Redirect : This enhancement gives user the provision to bulk upload the redirects along with date & time when they were uploaded. There may be millions of redirect setup, and that is where this feature comes very handy and allows you to manage that volume in elastic.

  5. Review historical price changes at product level : The ability to review historical prices applied to products (which discounts applied to this style/SKU/variant) when it was sold has been added so that it can aid reporting and enable seasonality understanding.

  6. UX changes for Refund/RMA: There have been multiple small changes in the overall UX and UI of the returns and refunds section within order detail screen that has made the usability even easier than before.To list few, the button label has been changed from ‘Refund’ to ‘Adhoc Refund’. The labels of the status have also been color coded.
     

OMS Enhancements

  1. Hermes integration: Hermes integration with Better Commerce automates the process to remove repetitive, manual employee administration and improve order fulfillment.Common commercial benefits achieved through synchronizing Hermes software with eCommerce and other business software include optimization of delivery costs, increasing employee productivity, removal of repetitive, time-consuming data entry and eradication of the need for temporary staff during busy periods.

  2. Upload bulk tracking no.: This release gives you a new feature to upload tracking number on orders using a simple excel upload. Logs are maintained for all the bulk uploads of relevant information.

  3. Remove tracking of an order before dispatch: Users can now remove the tracking number in case its not required or has been incorrectly put just before dispatching it.


Notable Bug Fixes

  1. Dashboard view: The data load inconsistency has been optimized to load even faster now.

  2. Save issue on the Searchandising screen: The keyword not fetching the search result and later error on save has been fixed in this release.

  3. Validation on saving redirects: While saving the redirects it is now imperative to select the type of directs. i.e 301 or 302. The system won't allow to save without the type of redirects.
  4. Brand collection: The brand collection can now be saved without any alert if all the validation criteria are met.

  5. Basket re-validation on adhoc discount removal: When an adhoc promo is removed from a quote in the back-end it will also update the same info if the quote is viewed from the fronted/website by the customer.

  6. Quote status: If a customer creates a quote from the website the default status of the quote will be 'SentToCustomer' unlike before which was Draft.
